|
The RX-80 is a general purpose hot knife to be use for cutting and heat sealing narrow fabrics. It is equipped with a 5" (128mm) heated knife. This model can be fitted with either one of these knives:
- Standard Brass (RX-80)- suitable for most hot knife applications and materials up to 3/4" (20mm) thick.
- Standard Stainless steel (RX-80SSB) - ideal for ribbon, hook and loop, and thin synthetic materials.
- Optional Heavy-duty stainless steel (RX-80SSA) - suitable for most hot knife applications and materials up to 3/4" (20mm) thick.
Cuts all types of synthetics such as webbing, braid, elastics,
strapping, cord, ribbon, hook & loop, and rope. |

| To Operate: |
|
|
To operate, simply slide the webbing across the base plate and bring the
handle down to cut and seal with minimum effort. Cutting time is usually
less than one second, depending upon material thickness and heat setting. |
